COFFEE IS A STAPLE FOR EVERY BREAKFAST STYLE
There are a few things more enjoyable than waking up to a great breakfast, served with a side of freshly brewed ARAKU coffee of course. If you’re anything like us, the only reason you don’t hit snooze for the tenth time is for that morning cuppa.
Whether you’re eating breakfast in bed or on-the-go, our Specialty coffee is the only companion you need. It works well with all breakfast recipes and styles. But hey, don’t just take our word for it. Let us tell you more!
Here are some of our favorite breakfast styles, and how ARAKU coffee works well with all of them.
- American Breakfast
Eggs, sausages, and bacon. Nothing washes down this quintessential American breakfast like a good cup of coffee. We especially love how a strong cuppa complements the salty, savoury, and fatty flavour of bacon. And did we mention the heavenly aroma of freshly brewed coffee blended with the frying of bacon?! We recommend trying out Araku Signature with a classic American Breakfast.
- Healthy Breakfast
If you’re opting for fruits and oatmeal, coffee is still a big yes. On busy mornings, we often reach for a bowl of berries. You wouldn’t expect berries to go well with coffee, but that’s one of our favourite combos! Pair them with a slightly sweeter brew. If you’re eating oatmeal, we recommend Araku MicroClimate. Its fruity undertones work well with a bowl of oatmeal. If you’re just eating a simple toast, choose a heavy-bodied coffee with high flavour intensity that blends well with the subtle flavours of toast.
- Dessert Breakfast
This is probably one of our favourite breakfast styles! (We’re guilty of eating dessert breakfasts often. And by often, we mean daily.) From croissants, cookies, and cakes to muffins and doughnuts - our sweet tooth needs something in the morning too. The sweetness of these desserts can perfectly offset a cup of coffee, especially one made on the milkier side like Araku Selection. For anything dark chocolate, go for an espresso, and pick a light roast for milk chocolate.
- Sunday Brunch Breakfast
Why wait for a Sunday to indulge in your favourite Sunday brunch foods? Treat yourself to crepes, pancakes, or waffles during the week too! And then use our coffee beans to brew a cuppa to go alongside it. A lighter milkier coffee elevates the flavour of these foods.
If you’re opting for an omelette, we recommend picking a more full-bodied coffee such as Araku Selection.
- Leftover Breakfast
Digging into last night’s dinner for breakfast can be convenient and delicious! After all, it’s never too early for pizza. Especially when we tell you that pizza goes super well with your morning coffee. We like pairing foods like pizza, pasta, and fries with an espresso. If your leftovers are on the spicier side, pair them with a cold brew. Araku MicroClimate makes a spectacular Cold Brew to go with your pizza cravings!
- Instagram Breakfast
Want your friends to like your breakfast as much as your taste buds do? For all Insta-worthy flat lay breakfasts, the avocado toast is a no-brainer. And where there’s avocado, there most definitely should be coffee. Avocado has a lot of inherent qualities that make it a great coffee companion. Its high-fat content provides a creamy texture that coats the palate. It doesn’t have a strong flavour on its own, but it is the most versatile vehicle for carrying flavour. No wonder it goes well with a strong cup of coffee. A cup of our best, the Araku Grand Reserve will take your breakfast to the next level!
- Cheesy Breakfast
All our fellow cheese lovers know that cheese is always great. Even at 9 in the morning. But when we think of cheese pairings, wine is the first thing that comes to mind. And wine for breakfast isn’t our thing. But you know what is our thing? Cheese and coffee for breakfast. A delicious under the radar pairing! The intense flavours of cheese are strengthened by brewed coffee grounds. Our weakness is a grilled cheese sandwich! The crispy toasted bread and gooey melted cheese go wonderfully with a strong cuppa. For ricotta and mozzarella, go for a cold brew. Creamy cheeses pair well with a light to medium roast. The trick is to stay away from delicate cheeses that can be overwhelmed with the taste of the coffee. Go for harder cheeses like Swiss or cheddar.
Did we forget to cover one of your breakfast styles? Holler and let us know at @arakucoffeein! We’re certain that we can find a brew from ARAKU coffee India to go with it. Coffee not only goes well with all breakfast foods, but it also elevates them. Mix things up by trying different roasts and varieties to see what works best for you, and your palate.
You know what they say, breakfast isn’t breakfast without a cup of coffee. (And by ‘they’, we mean ‘us’.)
