FRENCH PRESS
The French Press is the ideal coffee maker for lovers of light and very aromatic coffees.
MATERIALS
French Press
A Kettle
A Kitchen Scale
A Mug or A Coffee Server
WATER / COFFEE RATIOS
about 60g of coffee for 1L of water or 12g of coffee for 20cl of water
PREPARATION

Mold your coffee with the correct grinding (preferably coarse).

Heat the water to 92°c / 94°c. If you don't have a thermometer, heat the water until it ripples. Then preheat the French Press by pouring a little water into it (to avoid thermal shock). Empty the water.

Place 12g of coffee, pour the desired quantity of water in the French Press. Make sure to wet all the coffee.

Replace the lid without pressing and let the coffee infuse for 4 minutes.

Remove excess coffee from the surface (it can be responsible of the bitterness of your coffee).

Gently press the plunger.
