Comandante manual coffee grinders, made in Germany, have fast acquired cult status among coffee lovers. They refined the geometry and structure of the Nitro Blade burr to get the right grind performance and particle distribution — ideal for specialty arabica beans, such as ours. High-nitrogen martensitic steel is extremely difficult to manufacture, requires excellent craftsmanship and lots of experience. But when finished, it is tough, highly wear resistant and has a high degree of edge retention.
